Turmeric contains a wide range of very useful phytochemicals and that the traditional use of curcuma encompasses the whole essence of the curcuma root.

The special class of polysaccharides, including turmerosaccharides, is only now fully being investigated.

It is known that this group contains a complex mix of (among others) the monosaccharides L-arabinose, D-xylose, D-galactose, D-glucose, L-rhamnose and D-galacturonic acid.

Because the turmerosaccharides are water-soluble, they are absorbed faster and better than are curcuminoids.

Turmacin turmerosaccharide capsules can support the immune system and can be used to maintain flexible joints.

Clinically Studied

Turmacin has been subject to clinical research. In a randomised placebo-controlled study Turmacin significantly decreased pain and stiffness (WOMAC Score) by 25% on day 21 and 34% on day 42.

Another study has been found it to ease OA pain. “We observed that 57% of analgesic activity was exhibited by the turmerosaccharide rich fraction, The current study findings indicate that turmerosaccharides are the major phytoactives that contribute to the analgesic activity”
